Melifore Buyer Protection
What happens when an order goes wrong. The sale is between you and the shop; this is what Melifore stands behind on top of that.
Policy status
This is a draft, not a contract. It sets out what we intend to agree, so you can read it before you open a shop. The binding version is being written with a lawyer and will replace this page before Melifore opens to outside sellers.
What is covered
Your item never arrives, or it arrives damaged or clearly different from what the listing showed and the shop can't put it right.
You paid through Melifore checkout. Payments arranged outside checkout are not covered.
How it works
Start with the shop: use "Help with order" on the order page to open a return, report a missing or damaged item, or message the seller. Most problems are solved there.
If the shop doesn't answer within 48 hours or you can't agree, ask Melifore to step in from the same order page. We look at the order, the messages and the tracking, and decide whether a refund is due.
Refunds go back to the payment method you used at checkout.
What is not covered
Personalized items made exactly as you typed them (spelling included), items you changed your mind about, and delays caused by the carrier or customs once the item was shipped on time.
Items marked as final sale in the listing, unless they arrive damaged or not as described.
Time limits
Report a problem within 30 days of the estimated delivery date shown on your order, or within 14 days of delivery for damaged or not-as-described items.
